I tried Pangram, which is supposedly well-known as an AI detector. To cut to the chase: I have no idea how it works.
For my own work, I verify code with AI. So it makes sense that the code portions get flagged as AI-generated. That's why I ran Pangram on my posts.
But the results are a little strange.
While writing about the Pokémon Green story, I wrote a sentence like this.
The sentence below is 100% human-written.
When a CPU fetches data, the denser the data (the higher the density), the more useful information is packed into a single cache line load.
The opposite of that sentence would naturally be something like "sparse," yet the subsequent text got flagged as AI. I spent a long time puzzling over why.
When I write blog posts (as opposed to casual chat), I use a spelling correction AI. It's a feature that automatically tidies up Korean spelling, which can be tricky. But it seems like this is what's triggering the AI classification.
So I ran all of my posts through Pangram.
The result: half were flagged as AI-generated, and the rest were all MIXED.
I found that puzzling. I hadn't used AI for any of those posts.

Of course, if I say that, people will probably think I'm trying to hide that I used AI. So let me clarify upfront.
My Chinese blog already has posts dated to 2025. And the posts on my blog were originally written 16 years ago.

I used to blog on Textcube and Tistory. Those sites got hacked and disappeared, so I recovered some of those posts. The early posts are old writings from back then.
And yet, Pangram now flags those as AI-generated.
Sure, the English translations are a different story, since I'm having AI translate my Korean. The problem is that even the parts where I didn't use AI at all are being classified as entirely AI-generated.
I enjoy debating with AI. I argue with it, and if I find the logic convincing, I incorporate it into my writing. So this isn't about being offended by an AI label. I don't deny that some sentences I brought in were influenced by or drawn from AI.

(Every single sentence above was generated by AI, yet it received a 100% Human rating.)
So I ran a test.
Ugh, I got annoyed over nothing.
100% Human
Of course, everything above was written entirely by AI.
The world is a hall of mirrors.
